Biography

Current:

Stuart Wells is owner of Eigen Consulting, LLC.

Eigen Consulting, LLC is a software engineering consulting company which specializes in the area of embedded real-time software, Linux device drivers, and networking applications. Stuart is currently consulting at Ardence Inc, A Citrix Company where he is maintaining Ardnece Linux Boot Option. Ardence Linux Boot Option is a virtualization system that allows on-demand steaming of Linux operating systems and applications to disk-less clients. Stuart designed and implemented Linux Boot Option from scratch for Ardence Inc, a Citrix company last year.

Stuart Wells occasionally works as adjunct instructor. He last taught a general business and technologies class to undergraduate business students for the Computer and Information Science Department of Bentley College.

On May 10, 2005 he was elected to the Planning Board for the town of Rowley Massachusetts.

The Past:

Stuart was born in Minneapolis Minnesota and lived for a short time in St. Paul while attending Groves Academy and Saint Luke.

In 1980 his family moved to Westport, Connecticutt where he attended Long Lots Junior Hight School and Staples High School. While at Staples, Stuart took a semester of college courses at Fairfield University and at Yale.

Stuart attended college at Clarkson University in Potsdam New York where he obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Computer Science. Stuart also has a M.S. degree in Computer Science from Worchester Polytechnic Institute in Worchester Massachusetts. While attending WPI, he worked in the Mechanical Engineering department as a teaching assistant for the Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing laboratory.

Stuart Wells is former board member and treasurer of the Equal Marriage.Org: The Freedom to Marry Coalition of Massachusetts. He continues to fight for marriage rights for all couples in the state of Massachusetts.

Stuart currently lives in the great town of Rowley Massachusetts on an 8.5 acre Christmas tree farm called December Farm. He shares the farm with his husband Lane Bourn.

Stuart serves the town of Rowley as a Planning Board member. He was elected in May 2005 and is interested in town planning and development.

Stuart also gets a kick out of writing about himself in the third person.
